6-Pack Classic Lard Soap, Unscented - Affordable Old-Fashioned Lard Soap for Everyday

My best-selling unscented "Old-fashioned" lard soap, in a multi-pack to save you time and money.  Get 6 bars at once, and save 6%!  This is a great soap for everyday use, at the kitchen or bathroom sink, or in place of Fels-Naphtha soap in your homemade laundry soap (I started making this soap just for that purpose, after I read the Fels-Naphtha label!).  When I first made this unscented lard soap, I was astonished - I realized that the "fresh n' clean" type scent in commercial soaps is really just trying to imitate this!  Soap - just plain, simple, unscented, all-natural SOAP - smells wonderful!!  It smells just like soap, as silly as that sounds!  This is an updated version of "good ole-fashioned" lye soap - mostly real lard, but with a bit of coconut oil for better lather and conditioning. (Please check out my About Handmade Soap page if the word “lye” makes you nervous or hesitant, and Our Handcrafting Process for what makes our soap stand out).  These bars are mold-poured square bars, for consistent size and weight, and all weigh at least 4 oz.  Each is wrapped in brown paper and labeled, including a complete list of ingredients - just pastured lard, coconut oil, lye and rainwater.

This is a surprisingly low price for quality, handcrafted soap, but I realize that not everyone can afford $6 and $8 soap for routine use.  In fact, I started making my own because I wanted to use a "real" soap, but couldn't afford it for everyday, shower-and-kitchen-sink use, and I want to provide that option to others as well.  I can manage to offer this unscented soap for this fantastic price mainly because I obtain my lard from another small sustainable farm nearby for free (or trade in soap) and render it myself, and also because the fragrance and essential oils are actually the most expensive part of soap - for example, one of my handmixed EO blends costs $.94/bar!  By making unscented soap, I can pass that's savings on to you.

I have gotten great reviews on my Classic Lard soap, both in person and through my Etsy shop, about how wonderful this soap is for skin - gentle, moisturizing, cleansing, and no residue! Customers say:

  • "Forget buying' Lush' soaps and shampoo bars. These products are better! I always wanted to try lard soap. I loved the shop's story and who wouldn't love the price? I put my money on THIS lard soap and found out that it is THE BEST soap I have ever tried! It has left my skin soft and silky. I bought unscented and it smells so ...clean! Really! The lather is wonderful. Who knew?"
  • "Ok listen. I have been on a mad search for the best tallow soap for like, months. I wanted tallow because I find veg oil soaps to leave that sticky film I can’t stand. I found one other lard soap that doesn’t leave a film, but I was still missing something. Then I found this. It’s PERFECT. No weird residue. No sticky. Soap has a great feel. And the best part? It LATHERS. It’s SO GREAT. Seriously, it’s been a long time coming and I’m so happy. "
